Primary focus of ADI: Distribution of best-in-class products and to achieve fast market access through long term relationship

Allied Telesis, a global provider of secure IP/Ethernet solutions and an industry leader in the deployment of IP Triple Play networks, today Allied Telesis logoannounced that it has signed up a distributor agreement with ADI Global Distribution – India, the leading global wholesale distributor of security products (a 100% Honeywell subsidiary).

Allied Telesis is one of the most respected names in the networking equipment industry,” said Mr Anil Mehra, Director at ADI Global Distribution. “We are aware that globally and in India, there is a big shift from analog to IP in the surveillance market. We already have a fantastic portfolio of best in class global brands for cameras, NVRs, and analytics. Allied Telesis is a globally well-known brand in networking domain. This introduction of Allied Telesis reinforces our vision of tying up with the best in class brands in the world and making it available to our customers. We will be actively promoting the whole product range and we’re very confident that our SI base will be enthusiastic about sourcing professional networking solutions via ADI.

Allied Telesis’ full range of products will be available through ADI in India. The new agreement will offer customers with innovative products from networking domain that directly address the need along with enhanced compliance and will stand out from the market environment.

We are excited at the prospect of working with ADI. IP based security-surveillance market is growing at a significantly fast pace in India and the SAARC region. The market size is already getting close to USD1B in India. Allied Telesis has created a very strong brand presence in the IP surveillance market in the last half a decade with numerous sizeable deployments across vertical markets. Surveillance networks are complex and unlike pure data networks require very high design skillsets. Also the surveillance networks need to have high levels of resiliency, latency standards, and importantly very high video processing capabilities. This is where Allied Telesis as a network equipment vendor stands out against its competition and is a preferred vendor amongst most customers. The association with ADI is very strategic and we believe it will further enhance our footprint, as well as reach, in this fast growing IP security and surveillance market through its large base of SI partners pan India.” said Mr Subhasish Gupta, Country Manager, India and SAARC at Allied Telesis.

ADI will immediately begin marketing and selling all of the Allied products nationwide.
