Alcatel Pixi 4 With Android 6.0 & VoLTE Launched At Rs. 4,999

Alcatel has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of Pixi 4 (5). The smartphone comes with 4G VoLTE support and is alcatel-pixi-4priced at Rs 4,999. It will be exclusively available on Flipkart in Metal Silver, Metal Gold, Volcano Black and Sharp Blue colour options.

Talking about the specifications, Alcatel Pixi 4 (5) features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixel resolution. The handset is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It offers 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB by using a microSD card.

The device comes with dual-SIM functionality and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It boasts of an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera with LED flash. The smartphone houses a 2,000 mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

Earlier this year, Alcatel launched its X1 smartphone in India at Rs 15,999. It features aluminium frame design and has the company’s Eye-D unlock system with eye-biometric support.

The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution protected with a layer of Dragontrail glass. The handset runs on Andorid 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The connectivity options in the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
