AIRTEK INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC TIE-UP WITH ORIENT ELECTRIC &POSITIOINING INDIA TO BECOME THE NEW EXPORT HUB TO SOUTH EAST ASIA

HONG KONG – Airtek International, a global market leader in Home comfort and energy efficient products has announced a strategic tie-up with Orient Electric – the Delhi based electrical equipment manufacturing company. This ensures that India will be the export hub to various countries around the world.

AirTek has manufacturing hubs in China, India and offices globally in USA, UK, Argentina, Indonesia Mexico & India. A world class manufacturing facility has now been set up in the northern region of India for producing top quality air-cooling products.

“The ‘Made in India’ air coolers will be exported to more than twenty countries in the initial stage (such as South East Asia, Central Asia and Middle East), with aspirations to export 100 – 200 thousand units over the next three years.”

“We would invest around Rs 100 crore. This would be for setting up design and development centre and a new production unit”  said Naresh Kumra, JMATEK CEO(Global).   

There are plans underway for increasing the team size so that the best results can be obtained over the next three years. To add – recently Airtek launched an ultra-energy efficient and Compact Air cooler that when operating at “sleep mode” only consumes 2.7 watts and is considered whisper-quiet at 25 dB.  New air-conditioning products are also under development, positioned at a more competitive price point are also being developed so that even consumers living in small cities and towns can afford them.Airtek Orient Range of Air coolers will be available Pan India with major retail outlets Like Croma,Reliance,Vijay sales,Sargam India etc.Company is planning to sell 100 thousands  aircoolers this year with aggressive marketing plans.
