Adobe’s newly released Creative Cloud software,

Students, teachers and education institutions now have access to Adobe’s newly released Creative Cloud software, along with new flexible purchasing options to meeting individual requirements.
Last month Adobe announced the biggest software release since Creative Suite 6 in 2012, with 14 new versions of Creative Cloud desktop applications, including updates for Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC and Premiere Pro CC. Adobe also launched four new mobile apps, new hardware, updates to Creative Cloud services and new offerings for enterprise, education and photography customers. The announcement followed news that there are now 2.3 million Creative Cloud subscriptions worldwide, far exceeding original projections when it was unveiled two years ago. Industry response to the announcement confirmed Adobe’s leadership position in this sector.

Adobe’s recent Education, Creativity and Employability study found that 71% of Indian educators were in conformity that creative expression is a must for all students regardless of their stream of study.

The overwhelming majority of respondents (70%) feel that creative tools help students to better grab the oretical concepts and enhance their overall understanding in the classroom.

Adobe now has a range of options available for students, teacher and institutions to ensure students have access to our industry-leading technology.

For students and teachers, schools and universities, there are a range of options available to organize Creative Cloud:

• Students and teachers: For individual use on personally owned computers Adobe is making the first year intro offer for Creative Cloud Complete (Student Teacher Edition) just INR 1000/month.

• Classrooms and labs: Ideal for environments that need anonymous deployment of Adobe’s creative desktop applications, a new machine licensing option, provides licensing for each computer, rather than each user.

• Small work groups and departments: Designed for institutional departments that need access for each individual user, the named-user license provides a name and password to access Creative Cloud applications and services.

• Institution-wide: For large school districts, colleges and universities, Adobe’s enterprise licensing option offers customized licensing, and includes a complete set of Creative Cloud applications with or without services as well as other Adobe software applications.

• Special K-12 school & district program: Individual schools and smaller school districts can also take advantage of Adobe’s FTE-based Education Enterprise Agreement (EEA) program which is designed especially with the needs of educators and IT administrators in primary and secondary education.
