Acer expands Aspire series with the launch of Aspire 1, Aspire 3, Aspire 5 and Aspire 7

Acer has expanded its Aspire range of laptops with the launch of Aspire 1, Aspire 4, Aspire 5 and Aspire 7 at its Next@Acer event in New York. The company has designed the Acer Aspire 1 and 3 for everyday tasks and they also include fast 802.11ac wireless technology and easy to use Precision Touchpad.
With Acer Aspire 1, the company is offering one-year subscription of Office 365 Personal, and 1TB of OneDrive storage. The device features a 14-inch display and is powered by an Intel Celeron processor. The notebook offers 32 or 64 GB eMMC storage, 4GB DDR3L memory and Intel HD Graphics supported by up to 9 hours of battery life.
Acer Aspire 3 comes in three display sizes – 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 15.6-inch. While the first two laptops sport HD displays the last one is FullHD. Processor options for the Aspire 3 include Intel Core, Celeron and Pentium processors, with up to 12GB of memory. It also includes Acer’s BlueLightShield technology, which claims to reduce the exposure of blue light which may help reduce eye strain.
Acer Aspire 5 features a 15.6-inch FullHD display. Running Windows 10 operating system, the device is powered by 7th-gen Intel Core processors and latest NVIDIA GeForce graphics. It comes with maximum of 20 GB DDR4 memory and there are a range of options to choose from with HDDs up to 2TB and M.2 SSDs up to 256GB. Like the other Acer notebooks, this one also comes with Acer TrueHarmony for enhanced audio experience. The notebook comes with USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 port, USB 3.0 port that supports power-off charging, and two more USB 2.0 ports.
Aspire 7 is targeted at professionals such as designers and anyone who needs ‘power’ and ‘performance’, according to the company. The laptop features a slick chassis and is powered 7th-generation Intel Core processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 for graphics. The notebook comes with 32GB of DDR4 memory and ample storage (HDD up to 2TB and M.2 SSD up to 512GB). It also packs an HD camera with HDR and Dolby Audio Premium.
Acer Aspire 7 is availble in two display sizes – 15-inch and 17-inch. The device comes with the same port set-up as the Aspire 5.
Acer Aspire 1 series comes at a starting price of $219, while the Acer Aspire 3 has a starting price tag of $299. The device will be available in the market starting June this year.
On the other hand, the Acer Aspire 5 series will be available in North America in June starting at $449, where as the Acer Aspire 7 series will be available in North America in June starting at $799.
