Airtel To Return 50% Mobile Data Used At Night,Makes Wynk Free

This offer comes as part of the company’s strategy to attract more smartphone users on its network.

While Airtel has launched the data cash back offer for pre-paid customers, the same will be extended to post-paid customers within a week, said Srini Gopalan Bharti Airtel Director for Consumer Business.

Be it 2G ,3G or 4G, Airtel customers will get daily morning credit of 50 per cent of data, that they will consume between 12 am to 6 am.

Usage in night at telecom networks is least utilised and the company is passing on to customers the benefit of low utilisation time.

To opt in for the offer, customers just need to send an SMS to 121 or give a missed call to 55555 or log in to myAirtel app.

Airtel has also extended 3G and 4G data sharing facility among family members for pre-paid customers which was earlier available for post-paid customers.

But first Airtel customers need to download and start using Wynk application to avail free subscription. They have to do it using their mobile network first and later they can use it on Airtel wi-fi network as well.
