ASUS Expands India Portfolio with Three New ChromeOS Devices

ASUS India has expanded its computing lineup by launching three new budget-friendly laptops targeted at students and young professionals: the Chromebook CM32 Detachable, Chromebook CM14, and Chromebook CM15. Powered by Google’s lightweight ChromeOS, these newly introduced machines emphasize exceptional battery life, built-in Google AI integrations, and structural resilience meeting military-grade US MIL-STD 810H durability standards.

The standout product in this rollout is the premium ASUS Chromebook CM32 Detachable. Functioning seamlessly as a 2-in-1 hybrid, the 640-gram device easily transitions between a laptop and a tablet. It features a high-end 12.1-inch 2.5K touchscreen display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, the device ships bundled with a magnetic stand, a detachable spill-resistant keyboard, and an ASUS Pen stylus.

In contrast, the Chromebook CM14 and CM15 adopt a classic clamshell laptop design equipped with handy 180-degree lay-flat hinges for collaborative environments. Both models deliver a massive, class-leading battery life rated for up to 20 hours of continuous usage on a single charge.

Internally, all three devices are powered by the energy-efficient octa-core MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB of internal eMMC storage space. The entry-level Chromebook CM14 is priced at ₹26,990, while the larger 15.6-inch CM15 stands at ₹28,990. The premium CM32 Detachable starts at ₹37,990. All three variants will officially go on sale via Amazon and the ASUS E-shop starting June 19.
