The “For You” Feed Experience

The centerpiece of this update is a personalized video tab that showcases trailers, behind-the-scenes clips, and highlights from trending shows and movies.

  • Immersive Browsing: Users can swipe vertically to see full-screen previews of content tailored to their viewing history.

  • Instant Interaction: Buttons integrated directly into the feed allow viewers to instantly add a title to “My List,” start playing the video, or share the clip with friends.

Strategic Shift Toward Social Design

By adopting a vertical scroll, Netflix is acknowledging the shifting habits of younger audiences who favor short-form, mobile-first video consumption.
