IT Voice– As the Regional Director SEA – ZOTAC Technology Pte Ltd, how do you view the growth of the GPU and gaming hardware market in India over the past few years?
Deepak Gupta- India’s GPU and gaming hardware market has evolved dramatically in the last few years. What started primarily as a gaming-focused market has now expanded into a much broader ecosystem driven by creators, developers, AI researchers, and startups.
We’re seeing gamers pushing for higher fidelity experiences with technologies like ray tracing and high refresh rate gaming, while creators are leveraging GPUs for video production, 3D rendering, and AI workloads. What excites us the most is that demand is no longer limited to metro cities. Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are now actively participating in this transformation, which shows how quickly the ecosystem is maturing.
For us, it’s not just about selling hardware, it’s about being part of this technological shift where GPUs are becoming central to both entertainment and productivity.
IT Voice– ZOTAC has built a strong reputation in the graphics card segment. What strategies have helped the brand strengthen its presence in the Indian market?
Deepak Gupta- Our approach has always been centered around building trust with both customers and partners. Delivering reliable high-performance GPUs powered by NVIDIA architectures is obviously important, but what really strengthens a brand in India is consistency.
We focused heavily on ensuring strong product availability even during global supply constraints, maintaining transparent relationships with partners, and providing dependable after-sales support. At the same time, we actively engage with the gaming and creator communities through events, collaborations, and digital platforms.
India is a relationship-driven market, and by listening to the community and our partners, we’ve been able to grow the brand in a very organic way.
IT Voice– With the rapid rise of AI workloads, gaming, and content creation, how is ZOTAC adapting its product portfolio to meet evolving user demands?
Deepak Gupta- The reality today is that GPUs are no longer just gaming hardware they are becoming the engine behind AI computing and creative production.
With the latest RTX GPU generation and technologies like DLSS 4.5, users are seeing massive improvements not only in gaming performance but also in AI-assisted workflows such as video editing, AI art generation, and local LLM experimentation.
Alongside GPUs, our compact computing solutions such as ZOTAC Mini PCs are also playing a major role. These systems bring powerful RTX capabilities into a small form factor, making them ideal for creators, developers, and businesses that need high performance without large workstation setups.
Our goal is simple: make high-performance computing accessible across gaming, AI, and professional workflows.
IT Voice– The Indian gaming ecosystem is expanding rapidly. How do you see ZOTAC contributing to the growth of the gaming community and esports industry?
Deepak Gupta- India’s gaming community is one of the most passionate in the world, and its growth over the last few years has been incredible.
At ZOTAC, we see ourselves not just as a hardware provider but as an enabler of the ecosystem. We actively collaborate with esports organizers, gaming communities, creators, and system builders to bring better gaming experiences to users.
By supporting gaming events, engaging with content creators, and providing high-performance hardware that supports modern technologies like ray tracing and AI-based rendering, we want to empower gamers to experience games at their full potential.
The stronger the community becomes, the stronger the entire gaming ecosystem grows.
IT Voice– ZOTAC is known for its Mini PCs and compact computing solutions. What opportunities do you see for these products in enterprise, education, and creator markets?
Deepak Gupta- Compact computing is becoming increasingly important as workspaces evolve. Many organizations are now looking for systems that offer powerful performance without occupying large physical space.
ZOTAC Mini PCs are designed exactly for this shift. In enterprise environments, they offer reliable and efficient computing for offices, digital signage, and edge deployments. In education, they provide scalable solutions for labs and digital learning environments.
For creators and developers, these systems deliver workstation-level performance in a much smaller footprint. In cities where space efficiency is important, compact systems make high-performance computing far more practical.
IT Voice– Channel partners play a crucial role in hardware distribution. How important is the partner ecosystem for ZOTAC’s growth in India and South Asia?
Deepak Gupta- Our partners are absolutely critical to our success. They are the bridge between our technology and the end users.
What makes the Indian market unique is that customers rely heavily on trusted local retailers and system builders when making purchasing decisions. Because of that, we work very closely with our channel ecosystem to ensure they have the tools, product knowledge, and support required to serve customers effectively.
Our focus is always on long-term collaboration. When our partners grow their business successfully, the entire ecosystem grows with them.
IT Voice– Could you share insights into how initiatives like the ZOTAC Direct App are helping engage and empower partners?
Deepak Gupta- Digital platforms are becoming an important part of how brands interact with their partner networks.
The ZOTAC Direct App is designed to simplify communication and make it easier for partners to access product information, updates, promotions, and engagement programs in one place. It allows us to stay connected with our partner ecosystem more efficiently and ensures they always have access to the latest information.
By leveraging digital tools like this, we’re creating a more transparent and responsive partner ecosystem.
IT Voice– With increasing demand for high-performance GPUs for AI, data analytics, and creative workloads, what role do you see ZOTAC playing in this transformation?
Deepak Gupta- We are entering a phase where GPUs are becoming the backbone of modern computing.
From AI model training to data visualization and creative production, high-performance GPUs are enabling workflows that were previously impossible on traditional systems. ZOTAC aims to support this shift by delivering reliable GPU solutions that power these demanding workloads.
As more developers, startups, and creators explore AI-driven applications, GPUs will continue to play a central role in enabling innovation.
IT Voice– How is ZOTAC addressing the growing expectations around product innovation, performance, and after-sales support in a competitive market?
Deepak Gupta- Customer expectations today are higher than ever, and rightly so. Users expect not just performance but reliability and long-term support.
At ZOTAC, we focus on delivering advanced thermal designs, efficient performance, and strong build quality in our products. At the same time, we continue to strengthen our service infrastructure so that customers receive prompt support whenever required.
For us, innovation doesn’t stop at the product level—it extends to the entire customer experience.
IT Voice– What are some of the key technology trends—such as AI PCs, edge computing, and high-performance graphics—that you believe will shape the future of computing?
Deepak Gupta- Several technologies are shaping the next generation of computing.
AI-powered PCs are becoming increasingly relevant as more software integrates AI capabilities. Edge computing is also growing rapidly as organizations look to process data closer to where it is generated. At the same time, high-performance GPUs are becoming essential not only for gaming but also for AI development, simulation, and professional creative workloads.
Together, these trends are transforming how computing systems are designed and used across industries.
IT Voice– What are ZOTAC’s key priorities for the Indian market in the next few years?
