Exclusive Interview with Apoorva Nanda, Assistant Vice President – Marketing, Best Power Equipments (BPE)

IT Voice–  You recently joined Best Power Equipments as Assistant Vice President—what priorities did you set in your first few months?

Apoorva Nanda- In my initial months, my focus has been on understanding the existing business landscape, strengthening internal alignment, and engaging closely with customers and partners. I prioritized evaluating operational efficiencies, identifying growth opportunities, and building a roadmap that aligns with BPE’s long-term vision in critical power solutions.

IT Voice–  How do you view BPE’s position in India’s power and critical infrastructure ecosystem today?

Apoorva Nanda- BPE holds a strong and credible position in India’s power backup and critical infrastructure ecosystem. With decades of expertise and a robust product portfolio, the company is well-recognized for reliability and technological competence. There is significant opportunity to further scale our presence, especially in high-growth segments like data centers and digital infrastructure.

IT Voice–  How would you design and execute a global expansion marketing strategy to enter new international markets while strengthening brand presence and generating qualified leads?

Apoorva Nanda- Our global expansion strategy aims to enhance international visibility, build strategic partnerships, and attract high-quality leads through active participation in key industry events. As part of this plan, we will be participating in Data Centre World London from March 4 to 5, 2026, Middle East Energy (MEE) from April 7 to 9, 2026, and the Cloud Infrastructure (DCCI) Expo in Malaysia from May 12 to 13, 2026.

IT Voice–  Which customer segments—data centers, industrial, telecom, or enterprise—will be central to BPE’s expansion strategy?

Apoorva Nanda- Data centers and digital infrastructure will remain central, given the exponential growth in cloud adoption and digital transformation. At the same time, industrial and enterprise sectors continue to present strong demand for reliable power backup solutions, and we aim to deepen our penetration across these segments.

IT Voice–  How is the rising demand from data centers and digital infrastructure influencing your business roadmap?

Apoorva Nanda- The data center boom is reshaping the power solutions market. It demands higher efficiency, scalability, and redundancy. We are aligning our roadmap to offer modular, energy-efficient, and high-capacity solutions tailored to hyperscale and edge data centers.

IT Voice–  What role will product innovation and technology upgrades play in strengthening BPE’s market presence?

Apoorva Nanda- Innovation is fundamental. Continuous technology upgrades, smarter monitoring systems, lithium-ion integrations, and IoT-enabled power management solutions will enhance reliability and performance. Staying ahead technologically ensures that we meet evolving customer expectations.

IT Voice–  Reliability and energy efficiency are critical in power solutions—how is BPE addressing these expectations?

Apoorva Nanda- We are investing in advanced engineering, rigorous testing standards, and intelligent energy management features. Our solutions are designed to optimize uptime while minimizing energy consumption, which directly impacts operational costs for our customers.

IT Voice–  How important is sustainability in your strategy, and how is BPE aligning with green and energy-efficient initiatives?

Apoorva Nanda- Sustainability is not optional—it is a responsibility. We are working towards energy-efficient designs, eco-friendly manufacturing practices, and solutions that reduce carbon footprint. Incorporating green technologies into our product portfolio is a key priority.

IT Voice–  What approach are you taking to strengthen channel partners and system integrator relationships?

Apoorva Nanda- Partnerships are vital to our growth. We are focusing on transparent communication, structured training programs, incentive-driven engagement, and collaborative go-to-market strategies to empower our channel ecosystem.

IT Voice–  What challenges do you foresee in scaling the business, and how do you plan to navigate them?

Apoorva Nanda- Rapid technological shifts, competitive pricing pressures, and supply chain dynamics are key challenges. We plan to navigate these through strategic sourcing, operational efficiency, innovation-led differentiation, and strong partner collaboration.

IT Voice–  As a new leader at BPE, what changes or fresh perspectives are you bringing to the organization?

Apoorva Nanda- I bring a growth-oriented mindset, sharper market alignment, and a strong focus on data-driven decision-making. My approach emphasizes agility, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-centric strategies to drive sustainable expansion.

IT Voice–  Looking ahead, what would success look like for you and BPE by the end of 2026?

Apoorva Nanda- By the end of 2026, success would mean expanded market share in data centers and enterprise segments, stronger partner ecosystems, enhanced brand positioning, and a more innovation-driven product portfolio that reinforces BPE’s leadership in critical power solutions.
