As part of the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month initiative, Mr. Vighnesh Taunk, Director of Informatic Computech Pvt. Ltd. (ICPL) and Head of Digital Media at IT Voice, conducted an insightful two-day Cybersecurity Awareness Program for employees of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) on October 29th and 30th, 2025.
The sessions aimed to strengthen awareness and understanding of cybersecurity best practices among RVUNL personnel, emphasizing both organizational and personal digital safety.
On the first day, the workshop was held for engineers and technical staff, focusing on practical cybersecurity measures, password hygiene, phishing prevention, and safe data handling. The second day featured an exclusive session for senior executives, highlighting strategic cybersecurity planning, data protection policies, and leadership’s role in fostering a security-conscious culture.
Mr. Taunk discussed real-world case studies and live examples of cyber incidents to illustrate how individuals and organizations can effectively mitigate threats in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape. He also emphasized the importance of cultivating proactive cyber hygiene habits, vigilance against social engineering, and safeguarding both professional and personal digital assets.
The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Manish Jain, while Dr. Tarun Taunk, Managing Director of ICPL, also graced the session on October 30th and shared valuable insights on deepfakes, AI-driven scams, and emerging cyber threats.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Taunk said,
“Cybersecurity isn’t just an IT issue—it’s a collective responsibility. By spreading awareness, we empower individuals to act as the first line of defense against cyber threats.”
The sessions were well received by the attendees, underscoring the importance of continuous learning and preparedness in the face of growing cyber risks.
