Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has introduced the HPE Networking Instant On Secure Gateway, a new all-in-one network solution designed specifically to protect small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) from modern cyber threats. The product was unveiled at HPE’s Customer Innovation Center in Singapore, where senior executives, including Mark Ablett, Vice President of HPE Aruba Networking for Asia Pacific and Japan, and Rajanikanth Urs Mc, SMB Sales Director for the region, emphasized its significance for SMBs in Asia.
Built to deliver enterprise-grade security with user-friendly deployment and management, the solution helps SMBs defend their networks without needing large IT teams or costly infrastructure. It acts as a proactive security shield, constantly monitoring and filtering network activity to block unauthorized or malicious traffic.
Key built-in security features include firewall protection, intrusion detection and prevention, VPN support, and WAN high availability—all integrated into a single, easy-to-manage system. This streamlined approach enables SMBs to address cybersecurity risks effectively without relying on multiple separate tools.

The gateway is available in two models:

SG1004: A 1-gigabit, 4-port wired model with essential features like basic routing, VPN, firewall, WAN resilience, and IDS/IPS.

SG2505P: A high-performance, multi-gig, 5-port version with Class 4 PoE support (up to 64W) to power devices like access points, along with all the SG1004 features.
