Days after launching its premium range of Smart LED TVs at India Mobile Congress 2018, Detel, a brand making a mark in the Indian market today tweeted – ‘Thinking of buying a TV? We are just a few days away from introducing World’s Most Economical price TV #HarGharTV. Stay Tuned & watch this space for updates.’ hinting at the launch of a new TV. The new product is being touted as the most affordable TV to be launched by any brand.

Though consumption of video on digital platforms is on the rise in the country, good old television continues to score in terms of penetration and has large headroom left to fill.  Surprisingly, In India, over 33% of population has no access to television due to lack of affordability among other factors. And reportedly, Detel is all set to fill this gap and bring #HarGharTV with its economical range.

With the launch of the world’s most economical feature-phone, Detel had broken a barrier of access to communication for people at the bottom of the pyramid. Now it’ll be interesting to see which TV Detel will bring to the market and more-interestingly at what price! Adding to it, the Detel 24” LED TV is already among the cheapest, if not the cheapest, in the market right now.

Detel entered the Consumer Electronics Market earlier this year, till now the brand has successfully launched 7 LED TVs ( including smart TVs) ranging from 24″ to 65″ catering to different segment of audience.
