Government of Rajasthan launches Free Email Address Service – ‘RAJMAIL’

Rolls out the Digital India dream by injecting the free Email Address service which can be linked with Aadhar and Bhamashah IDs, Launches free email address to empower the state population, Makes emailing simpler for Rural Rajasthan by launching email address in Hindi script.

Following the digital India dream of Government of India, today Government of Rajasthan launched RAJMAIL – a free email address service for the citizens of Rajasthan which can be linked with Bhamashah ID or Aadhar ID. This free service is available at the domain mail.rajasthan.in
The free email address service was launched by the honorable CM of Rajasthan, Shrimati Vasundhara Raje at a DIGI FEST Event organised in Kota city on 17th to 18th August, 2017.
Shrimati Vasundhara Raje, CM – Government of Rajasthan shared, “Availing free email address service to the citizen which is linked with Bhamashah and Aadhar is a first of its kind initiative. I wish citizens to take benefit of this service.”
The technology for this service is made in India Jaipur based company by XGenPlus. Dr. Ajay Data, CEO XGenPlus said, “Rajasthan Government is visionary and has taken first of its kind initiative by availing free government email address service to the citizens. This will lead the state in creating digital Rajasthan as it empowers citizens digitally, along with other key digital services. ”
Mr. Rajeev Gujral, Senior Project Officer (Technology & Program Management), State eMission Team (SeMT), said, “This free email address service will ensure the data security of the citizens and it is also an important part of the Bhamashah kit. Very soon, users will also be offered Hindi ID @राजस्थान.भारत domain.”
The service is offered in both English and Hindi language for the ease of its use in Rural Rajasthan too. Not only citizens, but business houses and government offices can also use this free government email address service.
