Gionee A1 gets new OTA update; offers Bokeh selfie, and multiple languages

Strengthening its Indian selfie movement #Selfiestan, Gionee has announced the roll-out of a new Over the Air (OTA) update for its recently launched device, A1. Aimed at providing a ‘never before’ experience to its young and on the move consumers, the OTA update offers a host of customised experiences to users to enjoy music, videos and taking selfies on the year’s first flagship by the country’s leading youth company.
The latest update will provide Gionee users the splendid experience to take Bokeh selfies. It is the pleasing or aesthetic quality of out-of- focus blur in a photograph, which gives one an experience like a professional photographer. Besides, the update will OTA will provide 10 system regional languages –Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi,Kannada, Marathi, Malaya lam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. It will covert phone system language to desired language so the user can change languages as per their convenience. Gionee has launched this feature to empower every Hindustani with a personalized connect to their device. Additionally, it also offers a 3 year subscription of McAfee anti-virus for users to have a safe and smooth experience.
