Huawei P10 smartphone’s battery capacity alleged leaked in FCC’s listing

Huawei has already announced that it will be holding an event on the sidelines of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 tradeshow event at Barcelona, Spain, on February 26. The company is expected to launch its next flagship smartphone Huawei P10 at the event. Now, the upcoming smartphone’s alleged battery capacity has leaked, courtesy a listing on FCC’s website. As per the listing, the Huawei P10 will sport a 3100mAh battery, which is 100mAh more than the company’s current flagship Huawei P9 . The listing also claims that the smartphone will feature 2 SIM slots. The Huawei P9 came with a single SIM card support in India.
Previous leaks have claimed that the P10 will run Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.0 out-of-the-box. It’s likely to come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 1440×2560 pixel resolution. Under-the-hood, the Huawei P10 is expected to be powered by the company’s own Kirin (most likely 960) chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. If the RAM specification turns out to be true, then the smartphone will be the first from the company to come with 6GB RAM.
Internal storage of up to 256GB is expected, of which around 231GB will be user accessible. As with the P9, the Huawei P10’s dual-rear camera setup is likely to be developed in collaboration with Leica. The smartphone may include a 20MP (monochrome) sensor and 12MP (RGB) sensor, in addition to a dual-tone LED flash. An 8MP front-facing snapper may also be included. Recently this month, Huawei CEO Richard Yu announced on Chinese social networking website Weibo that the company will be unveiling its second-generation smartwatch at MWC 2017. However, Yu didn’t reveal any specifications of the upcoming wearable. As per rumours, the Huawei Watch 2 will come with cellular connectivity, enabling users to make and receive phone calls. The smartwatch is expected to come in two variants — one with cellular connectivity and one without it.
