Google’s latest flagship device, Nexus 5X is creating buzz in the market. The smartphone comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow  pre-installed. The device sports 13.20-cm (5.2-inch) full HD display, 64-bit Snapdragon 808 chip set and 3GB RAM. The phone has created lot of buzz in the market. 1. Native WiFi Calling
Google Nexus 5X is compatible with Project Fi. It helps you automatically switch between mobile data and WiFi network. The device smartly chooses between WiFi and cellular network depending upon which signal is stronger.
2. Quick Access Camera
The device comes with 12.3 MP primary camera. Google has upgraded the camera lens in Nexus 5X. The quick launch feature helps you quickly launch the camera by simply double tapping the power button. You need not even unlock the device to open camera app.
3. Encrypted Data
Google has focused a lot on security measures of Nexus 5X. The fingerprint scanner helps you securely unlock the device. Google encrypts your fingerprint and stores in trust zone protected area of device memory. Fingerprint API in Android 6.0 Marshmallow do not provide any access to fingerprint data in the memory. Fingerprints never leave the device. Even if your device is lost or stolen, you can easily find, lock and erase your phone using Android device manager.
4. No Qualcomm Quick Charge
Nexus 5X doesn’t come with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 feature. Rather, device comes with it’s own fast charging technology. Google claims 7 hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charge. You need to use the power adapter that comes with the Nexus 5X box.
5. Charge other USB Type-C devices
Nexus 5X comes with reversible USB-C port. This enables the smartphone to charge other devices that come with USB Type-C port.
6. Single Speaker
While most smartphones these days come with dual speakers, Nexus 5X sports a single speaker. Top speaker holds on-call volume while, the other one is for multimedia. It’s situated on the bottom front of the device.
