200+ Indian Colleges Showcase their Automation Skills by Building 8000+ Bots in the 3rd Edition of UiPath ICT Academy Skill-A-Thon

UiPath (NYSE: PATH), a leading enterprise automation software company, and ICT Academy, an initiative of the Information Technology and Digital Services Department, today announced the winners of its 3rd edition of Skill-A-Thon. This year’s Skill-A-Thon aims to help educators and students become citizen developers and harness the power of digital assistants by deploying software robots.

The initiative saw participation from 201 ICT Academy Member institutions across India, including more than 29,000 college students from different faculties, such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Engineering, and Technology. This year’s Skill-A-Thon was divided into two phases and lasted for 30 days. Phase 1 consisted of self-learning courses on UiPath Academy, where students attended three live masterclasses organized by UiPath. In Phase 2, students applied what they learned from UiPath Academy to build bots that can automate everyday work. A total of 8330 bots were built by more than 200 colleges using UiPath StudioX, a no-code drag & drop automation platform.
