Introduction

IT Voice Media Private Limited  (“we” or “IT Voice”) is an IT Media House with an aim to spread Information Technology news at a global level.

We publish news through several mediums, including but not limited to print media, online newsletters, Social Media and https://www.itvoice.in. (“our website”).

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our website we collect the data shown in the comment section, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Any comment made by a user after being approved by IT Voice is public and can be read by anyone.

Media

If you upload images to our website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to our website can download and extract any location data from images, but the use of it is strictly on Credit mention basis for the graphics produced/edited by IT Voice Media Private Limited.

Except the graphics by IT Voice, the other media images, videos have their source mentioned, refer to the creators policy for usage of its graphical content.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our website you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Analytics

We use Jetpacks plugin and Google Analytics to analyze all of our interactions/impressions and relevant data. Data collected through this is only used for calculating out better optimizing plans for the websites to provide a better experience to the users.

Usage of Data

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. And currently IT Voice doesn’t have a login portal for users, so the applicability of it is strictly for compliance purposes.

  • How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For contributors and employees (if any) that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All contributors/employees can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

  • What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this website, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We hold all the rights over the data that is once received by IT Voice Media Private Limited.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

And may be used for analysis for optimization and marketing purposes linked with the website.

Opt-Out

The users can opt out of the usage of their data for any purpose subject to approval, for that the users have to send an email to [email protected].

Although we have one of the higher end security features for protecting the data and information that is associated with IT Voice and it’s usage. 

IT Voice shall not be held liable for any damages, directly or indirectly, arising out of any data leak from the platform. 

Legal Protections and Other Disclosures

All the data that is gathered by us is stored for different compliances and legal requirements, and hence IT Voice has the right to share the data to government agencies/officials, if required.

Linking to other websites are for the purpose of references and source credits used for news delivery.

Emails

All the emails received through data collection through forms or any sort can be used for marketing purposes, until or unless it is mentioned for opting out mails for specific concern and purposes.

Do Not Track

There is no context on how we or any service-based industry should respond to “Do Not Track”. Therefore, we do not alter our practices in regards to any “Do Not Track” request from any browser. 

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
