Vikas Gupta:-  Take us through the Zicom’s offerings in security domain and how do you engage with channel partners in the country?

Mr. Manoj Khadkikar:- As Zicom is a renowned brand across country, working in India since last 21 years, Channels is an important & strong business unit/vertical through which we engage with our Channel Partners. We have proficient Sales & Service team working across India, along with this we have our offices in major important cities which helps us to stay in touch with all our Channel Partners & Distributors. We organize and plan Channel Partner Meets, Conferences, Road Shows, Annual Meets, Trade Fairs on regular basis to keep the engagement alive. We also engage with them through various promotional target driven Trade Schemes & Offers.

Vikas Gupta:-  What are your strategies to improve the Zicom position in Indian market ?

Mr. Manoj Khadkikar:- We have launched Zicom Care last year in which the company proposes to enhance the worth to its efforts of maintaining a safe and secure environment. The company has launched a proficient and well skilled service ‘Ziwatch’, a Security Agents positioned at the Command Centre keep a watchful eye on the health of your security system and operate with dexterity. ZICOM’s growth engine is going to be on the SAAS model. We started this business two years ago and have made good progress by getting some excellent customer acquisition across multiple verticals and industries.

Vikas Gupta:-  which are some of your pioneering products you introduced in the market recently or is there any plan to launch the  new  products?

Mr. Manoj Khadkikar:- Zicom has recently launched its “India’s most powerful Citizen Safety App Services called “Ziman”, which will act as “Personal Body Guard” to Women, Children, Parents and Pets.  What is unique about Ziman services is the stealth mode ( Ziman temporary state of alertness for intelligence gathering ) post which it facilitates rescue operations by hand holding the victim to safety. It is downloadable in mobile phones and acts as an emergency response system incase the owner is in danger. The person just need to trigger the alert button and our Zicom command centre (ZCC) will get in to action and calls the user to check his/her status.

Vikas  Gupta:-  what are the USP of Zicom products in a crowded market?

Mr. Manoj Khadkikar:- The USP of zicom products in crowded market is that all our products are indulge with our command centre who keeps a watch on your property or shops.

Services like zicom care ensure that all the security installation of the customer are working properly 24/7  and by integrating this service with our command centre who works 24/7 x 365 days are able to deliver fast response to any untoward incident through video verification.Zicom Logo

Vikas Gupta:-  Are you also planning to diversify in other product domains? If yes, please mention those domains and why?

Mr. Manoj Khadkikar:-  – Yes there are plan to expand our services portfolio by setting up “Verification Services” using the aadhar platform. Today with over 92 cr. Indians enrolled under Aadhar, we strongly believe, “Verification Services” will offer huge revenue upside without any much investments. Plus, the first mover advantage backed by our nationwide service network, will make our services roll out easier and faster. Although the average ticket size is small, the opportunity size will make this business profitable in a short time.

Vikas Gupta:-  who are the main competitors and how do you differentiate from them?

Mr. Manoj Khadkikar:- ZICOM’s business ethos is to focus on consumer experience instead of focusing on the competitors or just the hardware component. We believe, we need to engage with our customers for a lifetime to protect what he/she values the most. Our approach always has been to engage with the customer and make them feel safe rather than just sending him a piece of hardware to his place.
