ZTE may be working on smartwatch

Chinese smartphone brand ZTE is rumoured to be working on its first-ever smartwatch. As per a new leak, the Chinese company is working on a smartwatch likely to be called Quartz.
The device will run on Google’s wearable platform Android Wear and is likely to come with Wi-Fi and 3G support. The connectivity options will enable the users to access data and also take calls using the smartwatch when it is not paired with the smartphone.
Bearing the model number ZW10, it is expected that the company might unveil the wearable at the upcoming MWC 2017. No other details about the alleged smartwatch’s specs are available so far.
South Korean giant LG is also said to be gearing up to launch its latest smartwatches with Android Wear 2.0. Likely to be called Watch Sport and Watch Sport, the wearables are expected to be launched soon.
The LG Watch Sport is expected to be priced at $349 (around Rs 23,600), while the Watch Style will bear a price tag of $249 (about Rs 16,800).
Both the LG Watch Sport and Watch Style will come with features such as support for Google Assistant, a rotating crown and a USB-C charging dock. As per the user manual, users can activate Google Assistant by saying ‘OK Google’ or pressing and holding the power button. It’s also possible to take notes, set alarms and do other tasks with the help of Google assistant. Along with this, the guides have details about features of Android Wear 2.0 itself.
