Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 to sport dual rear camera setup

It seems that Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is working on its next smartphone Redmi Note 5. The device is said to feature a bezel less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display.
As per speculation, the smartphone is said to sport a dual rear camera setup with one 16MP and other 15MP module. The smartphone will either be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor or the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset.
Rumours suggest that the smartphone will house a 4000mAh battery just like its predecessor Note 4. The device is expected to be powered by 3GB/4GB of RAM and will come in three storage variants 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
Recently, Xiaomi revealed that it shipped 10 million smartphones worldwide. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun shared the news via Weibo, Chinese social media network. “We have good news to share: More than 10 million Xiaomi phones were shipped in September, marking the first time in our history we have crossed 10 million units in a single month! This means our business has achieved a new level,” said Lei Jun. Jun also said that the demand of some models has outstripped the supply.
The festive sales in India added to Xiaomi’s sales push as the company claims to have sold one million handsets in two days. Xiaomi claimed to have been the top-selling brand in terms of smartphones sales during Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sale. In India, Xiaomi also reached the landmark figure of 25 million handsets shipped. In the three years since Xiaomi entered the Indian market it has become a major player.
