Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 full specs leaked, launch possible in January 2018

This has been a good year for Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi. The company launched various smartphones and among them the Redmi Note 4 got a lot an appreciation. It seems that the company is now gearing up to launch its successor. Going by the trend it is expected that the company might launch the Redmi Note 5 in January next year as it launched the Redmi Note 4 in January this year.
Recently, some specs of the smartphone also surfaced online. As per the leaked specs it is expected that the smartphone will sport a bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is also expected that the company might also revamp the design of the device.
The smartphone is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat operating system topped with MIUI 9 layer of the company. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.
The device is claimed to offer 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. There will also be microSD card support. The smartphone is said to sport a 12MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Like the other Xiaomi devices this one will also come with dual SIM support and will be backed by a 4000mAh battery.
Recently, Xiaomi launched its cheapest smartphone in India – Redmi 5A. Successor to the earlier launched Redmi 4A, the smartphone comes with a metal unibody design and is priced at Rs 4,999. It is exclusively available online on Flipkart and Mi.com via flash sale method. One of the main highlight of the smartphone is the three card slots. The device come with three card slots allowing the users to use two SIM cards and one microSD card at the same time. It also comes with dual graphite cooling layer which prevents the device from heating.
