Xiaomi Mi A1 receives new update, includes November security patch

In September this year Xiaomi launched its first Android One smartphone – Mi A1. It seems that the company is now starting to roll out a new update for the smartphone.

According to the screenshots shared by XDA, the update is of 1GB in size and comes with the security patch for the month of November. However, some users also said that they are receiving an update of 460MB. In this case, the update doesn’t contain the security patches. This is not an Android Oreo update and also there is no word on the features and improvements coming to the device with this update.

It is expected that the company will roll out Android 8.0 Oreo update by next month.
