“Working with Lenovo makes us stronger as a team”
It has just been a year journey with Lenovo, but Comprint Computers used to be a partner for IBM earlier and that is how it is accustomed with the enterprise segment. After Lenovo’s acquisition of IBM’s x86 Server business, it became a partner of Lenovo.
“I have been into this enterprise business for 15 years now. In spite of the enterprise business being new for Lenovo, I have seen Lenovo as a team working intelligently and coming up with some very interesting solutions,” says Pankaj Samcheti, Owner, Comprint Computers. He further adds, “I have seen the team working hard to resolve any issues that partners face. So working with Lenovo makes us stronger as a team. Thanks to Lenovo, within this one year journey, I could achieve several milestones in my business.”
The market dynamics changes every day and it is not that if you have made some plans today, it will work for years. “The good part is that people at Lenovo are acceptable of whatever challenges are coming in and that is what is needed today to survive in this market. Lenovo is adapting to every change that is coming in,” he replies.
The Lenovo team is, however, not new to Pankaj as most of them have been associated with IBM earlier and they have worked together on several projects.
Pankaj finds the incentive programmes of Lenovo to be good and are in compliance of industry standards. “They are efficient in rewarding the channel and I appreciate the swiftness with which they incentivize the partners. After the CEO of Lenovo has visited India, they have gone on a spree to appointing many new partners for several of its businesses in the country,” he says.
Pankaj is confident that his company will grow with Lenovo products on a year-on-year basis. “We have achieved at least 25% growth year-on-year ever since Comprint started and I am optimistic of achieving that further,” he sums up.
