Sony Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra, Xperia L images and specifications leaked

Sony is not a popular figure in the industry when it comes to smartphone market. It has a niche audience supporting their devices. There were rumours that the company is in the particular business just to stay updated with the technology and not for generating revenue.
However, later it did confirm that it plans to stay competitive in the market. And to do that it is planning to launch at least three new smartphones in 2018, reports Venturebeat.
Out of the three, two are said to be in the X-series – Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra, while the third one will be the Xperia L2. All these are supposed to come as successors to the XA, XA Ultra and the Xperia L. Also mentioned is that the new smartphones may be showcased within next few days at the upcoming CES 2018 conference in Las Vegas. There’s also the possibility of the devices making their debut at MWC 2018 in February, if not this month.
The report mentions that these mid-range Sony smartphones could be shifting from MediaTek to Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. The Xperia XA2 is said to feature a 5.2-inch full HD display. The XA2 Ultra may sport a 6-inch full HD screen. Both are reported to come in two configurations based on 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version.
Based on recent GFX Bench listings of the smartphone, the alleged XA2 is seen sporting a 21MP rear camera supporting 4K video recording. A 7MP front-facing camera is also in tow. As for the XA2 Ultra, the smartphone may have the same rear camera along with dual 15MP front-facing cameras, which too may be able to record 4K videos.
Not much is known about the Xperia L2 for now, However, what can be said about the device is that it may have a 5.2-inch HD screen. While the XA2 handsets could come with Android Oreo out of the box, the L2 may sport the older Android 7.1 Nougat.
The design of the trio falls in line with the rest of the Sony Xperia line up. The company also seems to be sticking with the 16:9 aspect ratio screen.
