If you have been planning to buy Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone, then this may be the time. Amazon India is giving a cashback of Rs 8,000 on the purchase of Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The smartphone is selling at Rs 67,900 and the customers who will purchase the device will get a cashback of Rs 8,000 as Amazon Pay balance. This means that you can get the smartphone at 59,900.

Apart from the cashback, Amazon is also giving an exchange offer of Rs 15,530 with the smartphone. The customers can also avail the no-cost EMI option starting at Rs 3,228 per month.

For those unaware, Samsung launched Galaxy Note 8 in September last year in India. Successor to the last year’s ill-fated Galaxy Note 7, Note 8 is the first smartphone from the company to sport a dual rear camera setup. The smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 sports a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED ‘Infinity’ display with 2960×1440. This is the same Infinity display which the company used its Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones.

The device comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further using a microSD card. It comes equipped with fingerprint sensor, facial recognition and iris scanner along with this it also offers support for Samsung Pay. The smartphone sports a dual-rear camera setup with two 12MP modules. The first one is a wide angled lens with f/1.7 aperture, the secondary camera includes a telephoto zoom lens with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie shooter with f/1.7 aperture.

The company claims that both the cameras come with Optical Image Stabiliser. The camera also offers a Dual Capture mode wherein both rear cameras take two pictures simultaneously. Along with this, the users can save both the images: One close-up shot from the telephoto lens and one wide-angle shot that show the entire background.

The smartphone also has the company’s home-brewed Bixby digital assistant, rival to Apple Siri and Microsoft Cortana. The manufacturer claims that Bixby can do much more than its rivals, including being able to handle any smartphone-related task that is managed by touch.
