Samsung launches Galaxy J2 Ace and Galaxy J1 in India, starting at Rs 6,890

The smartphones are also a part of the company’s ‘Make for India’ efforts and will include features like the Ultra Data Saving (UDS) Mode which provides up to 50 percent mobile data savings with data compression and S bike mode that lets consumers track their rides. While S Power Planning is a smart battery management system. Galaxy J2 Ace features a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 540×960 pixels, along with Samsung’s proprietary Turbo Speed Technology (TST) which the company claims will optimise the device RAM allowing it to open apps up to 40 percent faster than devices with double the RAM. Galaxy J2 Ace is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad Core processor coupled with 1.5 GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.) Powered by a 2600mAh battery, Galaxy J2 Ace is Samsung’s most affordable device featuring a front flash camera. The smartphone harbours an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera with selfie flash.On the other hand, the Galaxy J1 features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The Galaxy J1 4G dons a 5-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front camera.

The smartphone sports a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor coupled with a GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via a MicroSD card. The smartphone is also powered by a 2050 battery.

Galaxy J2 Ace is priced at Rs 8,490 and is available in gold, black, and silver. The model will be available across channels from January 16. While the Galaxy J1 4G will be available at Rs 6,890 and is currently available across channels in gold, black, and white.
