Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone gets a price cut in India

Samsung launched its first 6GB RAM smartphone, the Galaxy C9 Pro, in India earlier this year. Originally launched at Rs 36,900, the smartphone has got a price cut of Rs 5,000 and is now available at Rs 31,900. It can be purchased both on Samsung’s online store and Flipkart.

The Galaxy C9 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC. It has a 6-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution and weighs 189g. For imaging duties, the smartphone includes a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual-tone LED flash. There’s a 16MP unit on the front as well.

The dual-SIM C9 Pro runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Wi-Fi as connectivity options. It’s backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

Recently, Samsung launched the 6GB version of its Galaxy S8+ flagship smartphone in India. Priced at Rs 74,900, the handset has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It’s on sale on Flipkart and Samsung shop.

As part of the introductory offer, the company is offering a free wireless charger (worth Rs 4,499) with the smartphone. The new variant is available in Midnight Black colour option. On Samsung Shop, the company is offering Rs 2,500 cash back to ICICI bank credit card holders. An exchange offer of up to Rs 15,000 is also available. Potential buyers who are interested in getting the smartphone from Flipkart can get Reliance Jio double data (28GB+28GB) at Rs 309.
