Samsung Galaxy C10 may be company’s first to sport dual rear cameras, hints renders

Earlier this year, Samsung’s current flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus were rumoured to come with dual-rear cameras. This, however, remained a rumour only. Some later reports suggested that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may sport the same setup. Now some latest reports claim that the upcoming Galaxy C10 may be the company’s first to sport a dual-rear camera sensors.
According to a some leaked render images and video of the unannounced Galaxy C10 by Pricebaba website and tipster @rquandt, the Galaxy C10 may come with a vertical rear camera placement. What features the dual lens will bring is not yet clear but we can definitely expect better image quality, shots with better depth of field and improved post processing of images. From the looks of it, the overall design resembles the currently available Galaxy C9 Pro. This indirectly means that the major set of changes could be seen on the software-level.
The report says that the Galaxy C10 will sport a 5.5-inch display and measure 152.5 x 74.8 x 7.68mm, which means its will be thicker than the Galaxy C9 Pro (7.6mm). In the render images and videos, the power and the volume buttons are placed in a similar way as they are in the Galaxy C9 Pro. However, there’s another button seen under the volume rocker, which could be the dedicated button for firing up Bixby.
Samsung is not only working on its high-end smartphone but also seem close to launching its budget Galaxy J 2017 smartphones series. Over the weekend, Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) appeared in a review video by a YouTuber. In addition, the three smartphones were indirectly confirmed by Samsung as they were listed on the company’s dedicated Kids Mode website.
All 2017 models of the Galaxy J line-up are listed under smartphones that are compatible with the Kids Mode feature. Although there is nothing else mentioned about the device(s), based on the 2016 Galaxy J series, it can be assumed that the J7 will be the most powerful of the trio, followed by J5 and J3.
