Reliance Jio Unveils Unlimited Free WiFi
In the midst of spectacular Ganesh Utsav festivities, Reliance Jio Infocomm wants to catalyse the happinees of Mumbaians. If the latest reports are to be believed, the telecom arm of Reliance Industries is all set to launch unlimited free Wi-Fi service at selected pandals during the festival. Devotees visiting at these pandals would reportedly have to select Jionet, fill their personal details on their device and enter one-time password in the message to enjoy the services.
“This year, we are privileged to join the festivities by offering ‘Jionet’ high speed wi-fi Internet service…as we want visiting devotees to sample the digital ecosystem we are building consisting of high speed data networks,” Reliance Jio spokesperson said.
“Devotees visiting Lalbaug Cha Raja, Andheri Cha Raja and Sahyadri Cha Raja pandals during 11-day long festival will be able to access high speed wi-fi internet services through their mobile devices”, the company said in a statement.
The statement also confirmed that Wi-Fi and LTE networks will function with each other seamlessly, after 4G LTE service begins. While, Jio 4G services is expected to be introduced by the end of this year, the company feels that the users experience and feedback will help them to offer better services when it is officially.
