ItzCash Card ties up with Flipkart for facilitating online shopping across 75,000 outlets 

ItzCash today announced its partnership with Flipkart to ITZ Cashreach out to the next billion segment, primarily the ones without having access to either a debit or a credit card.

This partnership is in the form of a co-branded online store, which will be available across all the 75,000+ franchisee stores of ItzCash called ItzCash World (ICW). With festive season around the corner, this is the right time to launch this service, as both franchisees and ItzCash Prepaid Card users will enjoy valued offers and discounts on the site.

Speaking on this development Naveen Surya, Managing Director ItzCash said “ItzCash has been a pioneer in serving the under banked segment through its prepaid payment instruments since 2006 and this association with Flipkart has opened doors for the said segment to transact online and fuels their aspirations further.” We are witnessing a digital revolution across the country and this is another novel way of enabling the underbanked get acquainted with e-commerce and enjoy the benefits which accrue thereof.

The partnership will leverage the existing retail presence at 75000+ ItzCash world outlets and opens up Flipkart’s online shopping channel to customer in T3 &T4 towns and cities.

Speaking on this development Mausam Bhatt, Sr. Director, Growth at Flipkart said, “Next big base of adoption for e-commerce will come from SEC B, C segments as well as Tier 2 and 3 cities.
