Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 India launch likely on June 13

Nokia recently revealed that it will be launching its three Android-powered smartphones – Nokia 6 , Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 – in June . But the company didn’t reveal when exactly the smartphones would come to India.
But based on an insider report, the trio may be launched in India on June 13. The company has seemingly sealed the launch date and will soon start sending ‘Save the date’ teasers to media houses. The official invitation for now is decided to be sent out on/around June 8. That said, there’s no news as to when the handsets will be hitting the shelves. The company’s ‘re-imagined’ Nokia 3310 feature phone has already been launched in India and is available at Rs 3,310. All four handsets were introduced at MWC 2017 conference earlier this year.
The most powerful of Nokia’s three upcoming smartphones is the Nokia 6. The dual-SIM device has a 5.5-inch Full HD resolution display with 2.5D curved glass coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, along with Adreno 505 GPU and of RAM. On the storage front, Nokia 6 comes with 64GB internal storage and supports for microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.
On optics front, Nokia 6 has a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.
The 4G LTE-capable Nokia 6 comes with Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB OTG and Wi-Fi as major connectivity options, and packs a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone has dual speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology, 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint sensor at the front.
On the other hand, the Nokia 5 has a 5.2-inch display and sports a 6000-series Aluminium build. It comes in four colour variants – Tempered Blue, Copper, Black and Silver. The smartphone has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and runs Android 7.1 Nougat. For imaging duties, there’s a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper.
Lastly, Nokia 3 has the same build quality as the Nokia 5 but includes a smaller 5-inch display. The smartphone sports 8MP front and back cameras. Powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset, the Nokia 3 has a polycarbonate back and an aluminium frame.
