Nokia 3 smartphone gets the camera update

Recently, HMD Global rolled out the November security patch for its Nokia 6 smartphone. Now, the company has rolled out an update for its budget smartphone Nokia 3. The new update brings the much-needed camera improvements to the device.
The update is available from Google Play store and was first spotted by GSMArena. According to the description written on the Play Store, the camera app now is version 6.0090.07 and works with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Juho Sarvikas, chief product officer of HDM Global, recently tweeted that the company is working on introducing the Lumia camera app UI to its range of Nokia Android smartphones.
To recall, the company launched Nokia 3 in India in June this year with a price tag of Rs 9,499. The smartphone comes in Black and Blue colour options and comes with a polycarbonate back along with an aluminium frame.
As for specifications, the Nokia 3 sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor. The smartphone comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card support.
Nokia 3 has 8-megapixel camera both at the front as well as the back. Both the cameras are autofocus with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone measures 143.4×71.4×8.4mm and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with Google Assistant built-in.
Last month, HMD Global launched its Nokia 2 smartphone. The handset is the cheapest in the series and is aimed for those who are looking for all the basic features required in a handset. It sports a metal frame along with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection at the front and a polycarbonate body at the back.
Interested buyers can get Nokia 2 in three colour variants – Copper Black, Pewter Black and White starting mid-November.
