Meizu Pro 7 new alleged leaks show secondary display

Meizu’s long rumoured flagship smartphone Meizu Pro 7 is back in news. Now, new alleged details about the upcoming smartphone have surfaced online. As per the latest leaks, the smartphone will sport a secondary display. The secondary display will be placed under the dual camera on the rear panel.

As reported by GizmoChina, the leaked images of Meizu Pro 7’s prototype show a secondary display located on the rear panel. The display is said to offer more functionalities too, other than just being a just a notification bar. The leaked images highlight that the secondary display is RGB one and not an E-ink display. It appears to be a miniature replica of the main display.

The images also reveal that the device consists of a curved glass panel with thin bezels on the sides. The smartphone will sport a dual-rear camera setup with LED flash placed next to it. The volume rockers and power buttons are placed on the right side, while the USB Type C charging port sits on the bottom.

The report also suggests that the device will be powered by MediaTek Helio X30 processor. The smartphone is expected to come in Gold and Black colour options.

Last month, Meizu launched the M5 smartphone in India at Rs 10,499. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM. It offers 16GB/32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB through a mciroSD card.

The hybrid dual-SIM handset runs the Yun OS 5.1 topped with Meizu’s Flyme UI. The smartphone features a 13MP rear camera dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens. A 5MP front camera for selfies is also included. The device carries an mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button. Backing the device is a 3,070 mAh battery.
