LG Teases ‘Something New’, Likely Mid-Range ‘Class’ Phablet
LG Electronics is expected to unveil its next phone on September 21. Dubbed as H740, the image of the phone was seen on Facebook sporting a lustrous metallic body with the caption Something New. Though the pricing details are under the wraps, the device seems to be a mid-range phablet. If the rumours are to be believed, it might be launched in the market with the name LG Class.
As per the specifications listed in GFXBench, H740 sports a 14.47 cm (5.7-inch) full-HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Powered by a Snapdragon 615processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM, the phone comes with 8GB of in-built storage. However, it is not yet clear if the phone has the expandability option available.
The phone is likely to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It might feature a massive 13MP rear camera with LED flash and full-HD video recording support besides a 5MP front snapper to capture selfies. With the connectivity of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, it is said to come with accelerometer, compass, and pedometer sensors.
