JBL expands portfolio with four new audio products

Audio electronics company JBL expanded its consumer personal audio lineup with 4 new products. The lineup includes JBL E65BTNC (over-the-ear wireless headphone with noise-cancelling technology), JBL Free (Apple AirPods-like wireless earbuds), JBL Jr(headphones aimed at kids) and JBL Soundgear(wearable speakers).

JBL E65BTNC

Equipped with Bluetooth 4.1 technology, JBL E65BTNC offers good bass and high-quality audio for up to 24 hours of play time in Bluetooth mode. The E65BTNC headphone plays for 15 hours with active noise-cancelling turned on and can be fully charged in two hours. The headphones have a soft, fabric headband and form-fitting ear cushions for comfortable fit. The JBL E65BTNC (199) will be available for purchase from October 2017. Colours include Black, White, and Stone Blue.

JBL Free

The cord-free earbuds JBL Free provides 24 hours of combined use, delivering continuous music for up to 4 hours with 20 hours of backup power from the charging case, according to the company. Additionally, JBL Free has a built-in microphone. JBL Free (149) will be available at selected retail stores in Black and White from October 2017.

JBL Jr

This is a first from JBL — JBL Jr are specifically designed for kids. The JBL Jr line includes both wired and wireless models specifically designed for children ages three to ten. The JBL Safe Sound feature ensures volume maxes out at 85dB, keeping audio at safe levels. Additionally, the 3D axis rotation ear cups automatically adjust to children’s ear sizes to create a perfect seal. The JBL JR300BT (49.99) and JBL JR300 (24.99) will be available for purchase from September 2017. The JBL JR300BT headphones come in two colour combinations; Punky Pink and Rocker Blue. The JBL JR300 headphones are available in Spider Red and Ice Blue. A sticker pack is included for kids who want to make their headphones as unique as they are.

JBL Soundgear

The JBL Soundgear comes with JBL’s Signature Sound and is designed to be worn around the neck. JBL Soundgear is wireless and connects through Bluetooth to smartphones. Users can also connect to virtual reality headsets such as the Samsung Gear VR and Google Daydream View. The device has dual-microphone conferencing system with echo and noise cancelling technology. The JBL SoundGear (229) will be available for purchase from November 2017.
