The company also announced the creation of a dedicated retail business unit with the scale and flexibility of nearly $3 billion enterprise applications major, but with the operational flexibility and nimbleness of an independent startup.

In addition to cloud technology, Infor CloudSuite Retail leverages networking, digital, Big Data, machine learning and user experience to offer next-generation retail operations capabilities. The software suite is designed to facilitate item management, order management, inventory management, pricing and promotions, cost management, stock ledger and sales audit, replenishment and allocation, and integrated planning.
The product will support multiple retailing channels globally, including brick-and-mortar, online, mobile, and social, fashion, grocery and mass merchandising, and is expected to be available in 2016.
