iBall Slide Brace-X1 4G tablet with Remix OS launched at Rs 17,499

iBall has expanded its product portfolio in the country with the launch of a new tablet. Dubbed Slide Brace-X1, the 4G-enabled tablet runs Android-based Remix OS, which iBall introduced in association with Jide Technology. During the launch, iBall also said all its future tablets and PCs will be based on Remix OS.
The company claims that Remix OS supports several key features such as multitasking, multiple-window support, keyboard and mouse optimization, and advanced file management.

In terms of specifications, iBall Slide Brace-X1 4G has a 10.1-inch IPS display of 1280×800 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s also 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 64GB in size.
For imaging duties, the Brace-X1 4G has an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling. Backed by a 7,800mAh battery, it offers 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS as major connectivity options.

Priced at Rs 17,499, iBall’s new tablet is available at all offline retail stores. Last month, the company launched its Wings 4GP tablet at Rs 9,999. The device has 4G VoLTE support and allows users to make and receive HD voice/video calls.
iBall Slide Wings 4GP features an 8-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. There’s also 16GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size.
