Huawei P11 with triple rear cameras tipped to launch during MWC 2018

Huawei has already made a mark in the smartphone industry with its P9 and P10 camera-focussed smartphones. The two handsets, at the time of their launch, were much appreciated by critics for their cameras that come with Leica lens. But it looks like the company is ready to set a new benchmark in the industry by launching a triple rear camera smartphone, P11. This was first tipped a few days ago courtesy Evan Blass. Now, a new piece of information hints towards its launch time frame.
According to another tipster @rquandt, the flagship Huawei P11 could be seeing the light of the day during MWC 2018 conference. The tipster says that, “So the Huawei P11 seems to be a Q1 2018 thing (again). We were just promised “exciting new products” with a focus on camera and AI for Q1 at a local german Huawei Xmas event. Could be MWC like the P10.” The tipster further adds authenticity to this information by saying, “Btw, these things were said by William Tian, Country Manager for Germany and VP Sales for Western Europe at Huawei.”
Nothing is confirmed about the smartphone. However, according to Evan Blass, the smartphone could be carrying a 40MP rear camera along with 3 lens rear (5x hybrid zoom) and a front-facing camera with 24MP. It has also been mentioned that all the cameras onboard will be co-developed by Leica.
It is worth adding that the Huawei Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro, both sport the same 24MP front-facing camera.
The P11 is also said to feature AI-powered assist that will be able to scan objects which is being clicked and adjust the correct scene and the mode. Additionally, there may also be a pro night mode that is said to capture 100% more light for better low-light shots.
