Huawei launches MediaPad T3 and MediaPad T3 7 tablets
Huawei has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of two Android-based tablets — MediaPad T3 and MediaPad T3 7. Both tablets are listed on the company’s official website, although nothing is known about their price and specifications yet.
The MediaPad T3 has an 8-inch display of 1280×800 pixel resolution. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it’s powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.
MediaPad T3 has a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a 2MP fixed-focus front camera for video calling. The device offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options, with a 4,800mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
On the other hand, the Huawei MediaPad T3 7 has a 7-inch display of 1024×600 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with Huawei’s EMUI, the MediaPad T3 7 has a 2MP camera each at the front and the rear. Having all standard connectivity options, the tablet packs a 3,100mAh battery.
Last year, Huawei launched its MediaPad M3 tablet in China. It features an 8.4-inch display of Quad HD resolution and has Harman-Kardon audio system. The tablet is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 950 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. MicroSD cards of up to 128GB in size are supported.
Huawei MediaPad M3 sports a 5,100mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 11 hours of video playback. There are two 8MP cameras, one each at the front and the back. The tablet runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
