Here’s how Airtel customers can get iPhone X delivered at their doorstep

One of India’s leading telecom operator, Airtel, has announced that Apple‘s anniversary edition iPhone Xwill be available on the company’s newly launched Online Store (www.airtel.in/onlinestore/) starting 6.00 pm, November 3, 2017.

iPhone X on Airtel’s Online Store will be available exclusively to Airtel postpaid customers as an unlocked device on a first come first served and full payment basis, till stocks last. The company will deliver the device free of charge to customers’ doorstep. Along with this, customers purchasing iPhone X using Citibank Credit Cards will get a cashback of Rs 10,000. The cashback offer will be available between 6.00 pm, November 3, 2017 and 7.00 am, November 4, 2017.

Talking about the same, Raj Pudipeddi, Director – Consumer Business & CMO, Bharti Airtel said, “We are delighted to offer the most advanced iPhone on our Online Store and give our postpaid customers in India an opportunity to be amongst the select few globally to get the much awaited iPhone X. Our customers can also experience the seamless digital experience offered by Airtel’s Online Store from ordering the device to doorstep delivery. We are seeing some terrific customer response to our offerings on the Online Store and we are confident that iPhone X will only add to the momentum.”

To recall, Apple launched the iPhone X last month along with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of Rs 89,000.

It is the first iPhone to sport an OLED display with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. The iPhone sports a Super Retina edge-to-edge 5.8-inch display with 2436 x 1125 pixels resolution.

The smartphone runs iOS 11 and is powered by company’s A11 Bionic chipset. It is also the first iPhone which comes with facial recognition FaceID feature. The FaceID has replaced Apple’s trademark TouchIDs fingerprint which made their debut in iPhones in 2013. The company claims that FaceID is powered by TrueDepth camera system on the front.

The all glass body iPhone X comes with a dual 12MP rear camera with dual optical image stabilization. There’s f/1.8 aperture on the wide-angle camera and an f/2.4 aperture on the telephoto camera. There’s also a 7MP front facing shooter for selfies and video calling. The smartphone comes in two storage variants 64GB and 256GB.
