Fiio launches X3 Mark III audio player at Rs 14,990

Chinese audio maker Fiio has launched X3 Mark III — the third in line of the X3 series of high-res audio players — priced at Rs 14,990. The X3 Mark III combines both 3.5mm single-ended headphone as well as 2.5mm balanced output, which enhances sound quality. The device also has the new dual DACs which allow noise reduction and a higher signal-to-noise ratio.

The X3 Mark III has a new multi-function button; just one-press will allow you to access playback controls and the equalizer as well. And like most of the Fiio devices, the Fiio X3 Mark III is Hi-Res Audio certified so you can experience loss-less music and it also supports a variety of loss-less audio formats like WAV, WMA, FLAC, ALAC, DSF and DFF.

It is supported by Bluetooth 4.1v which comes from the F1C81 chipset and, according to the company, enables low-latency transmission which gives high music quality.

On the storage front, it supports up to 256GB of microSD card which means you can carry your entire playlist with you all the time and about 8,000 FLAC files. The new device features, both power-saving standby and deep-sleep mode, so it’ll wake up instantly when you hold the device and go in sleep mode if hasn’t been used for a long time. According to the company, theX3 Mark III will last approximately 19 days standby time. To make controlling easier, the device will now support all the in-line control standards.

The device can also be slotted into the K5 docking headphone amplifier for a fully-featured desktop amplifier system. The device will be available on its official website www.fiio.co.in.
