Brother Introduces Refill Ink Tank Features To Its Inkjet Multi-Function Printer
Japanese printer brand Brother International has introduced refill ink tank features to its inkjet multi-function printers. The company feels this new way of printing solution will support customers to buy genuine ink cartridge for its printers at a much affordable price.
To begin with, the company has launched three new models DCP T300, DCP-T500W, DCP-T700W with a price range from Rs 11,100 to 14,750. Moving forward, the company will launch its upcoming inkjet printers range with this new feature.
In the new printers range, the embedded ink tank design frees up desktop space. It has simplified the ink refilling process as the ink tank cover is located at the front of the multi function Center, which allows for easy access to the ink tank.
Toshiaki Isayama, MD, Brother International India Pvt Ltd, “We understand customers are often seeking affordable ink when it comes to printing, to overcome this issue, we have introduced ultra-high 6000 page yield ink for low running cost for only 10 paise per black page.”
Alok Nigam, General Manager – Sales, Marketing and Service, Brother International said, “The usage of spurious ink has been a serious issue for all the printing printers, the ink tank feature will help in educating the users to go for genuine ink. We will be spreading this awareness through our partners.”
Brother in India offers a wide range of products. Mono laser and colour printers and multifunction centers, Inkjet multifunction centers, facsimiles, labelling solutions and home sewing machines.
The company is also betting big with these new series of printers to increase the marketshare in inkjet space from current 5% to 15% and in laser, it is looking to jump from 7% to 25%.
