Apparently the Asus Zenfone Zoom was spotted clearing TENAA earlier today in China. The Zenfone Zoom sports a 5.5″ Full HD (1920x1080p) display up front along with the three capacitive button and the metallic chin which has become the distinguishing mark of the Zenfone lineup.
Under the hood is a quad core Intel Z3580 Soc with cores clocked at 2.3GHz each. This is similar to the one seen in the Zenfone 2 (4GB edition). The rest of the specs included 2GB/4GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage. Asus has also hinted about a 128GB variant of the Zenfone Zoom. The camera is further equipped with a OIS and f/2.0 aperture for improved low light performance. Despite sporting a 3X optical zoom module Asus has succeeded to keep the device quite slim at 11.95mm. The rear camera is complimented by a 5MP unit on the front. Asus has also scheduled an event on 1st December in Taipei City to launch the new Zenfone Zoom smartphone.
