Asus Zenfone Max Plus launched in US, may come to India soon

It the ongoing annual CES conference, Asus has revealed that its recently launched bezel-less smartphone, the Zenfone Max Plus (M1), will also sell in US as well. This handset was launched in Europe back in December at 300 Euros.

The company showcased the Zenfone Max Plus (M1) the handset at the conference and said that the handset will be priced at $229 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The handset will be available starting February in Azure Silver and Deepsea Black colour options.

The Zenfone Max Plus (M1) will be company’s first handset to come with face detection feature, called the Face Unlock, part of company’s ZenUI 4.0.

Gadgets Now also spotted a listing of an upcoming smartphone launch on e-commerce marketplace Flipkart, with ‘want to Max out your new smartphone?’ banner. The link also reveals a 3D image of a smartphone with a pie chart describing that 30% people want to max the camera, 22% want to max the performance, 21% want to max the display and 27% want to max the looks. The handset is set to be launched tomorrow. Given that Flipkart has been an exclusive provider of the Asus’ smartphones in the past, it is possible that the Zenfone Max Plus (M1) is coming to India tomorrow.
