Dell recognized as leader by CIOs in seven categories in the latest edition of CIO Choice Awards

CIO Choice has recognized Dell, the world’s fastest growing large integrated Sudharsan R_ Commercial Marketing HeadIT company in the prestigious CIO Choice  Award 2015. Dell was awarded under 7 categories – Data Centre Consultant, Data Centre Transformation Services, Laptop, Network Security, Networking –Active, Server Virtualization and Storage – Hardware.

“A strong return to growth is expected next year in the Indian data center infrastructure market, and the market will be buoyed by an overall increase in sentiments and a strong resurgence of growth-related projects across verticals such as banking, insurance, telecom and the government segment,” said Aman Munglani, research director at Gartner. “While much of the SMB segment is likely to focus on infrastructure build up, large enterprises within the segments mentioned above will look at infrastructure replacement and growth related projects covering mobility, cloud and big data”.

Bajaj Capital, another customer of Dell found great benefits from partnering with Dell for the growth of the volume of financial data being generated by the organization. The company made use of Dell Compellent storage to device a storage solution that can scale effectively and improve processing performance. Speaking on Dell’s recognition, Puneet Kaur Kohli, Group Executive Vice President, IT & Operations, Bajaj Capital said “What we have admired about Dell is the flexibility that they offer their customers. This is very important for us as data growth can sometimes be unpredictable. Dell as a vendor has always been supportive is assisting us in meeting data centre requirements. The CIO Choice Awards is a recognition conferred to industry leading ICT vendors across the country. The awards are determined through an independent CIO voting survey of over CIOs from across the country on product performance, customer satisfaction and continued customer service and an independent advisory panel of imminent CIOs.
